Parents Watch The Maturity of Their Sons While Sharing Their Joy During the Graduation Ceremony at Chung Cheng Armed Forces Preparatory School

“Congratulate the seniors and happy graduation!”. Chung Cheng Armed Forces Preparatory School held its graduation ceremony for its students from the 108 Academic Year Class on the 14th of June. Nearly a thousand parents arrived from all around the country to attend their sons’ graduation ceremony. Over the past 3 years, the students have blossomed and thrived at the preparatory school; the students have become more mature and organized and in their conduct and ways of dealing with affairs. Hence, the parents were there to share the joy with the students and faculty of the preparatory school while thanking the school for the education and cultivation.

 

Chief of the General Staff, General Lee, Hsi-Ming, awarded the graduation certificates to students who performed exceptionally in their academic performance. After the ceremony ended, the graduates took pictures with their relatives, friends, and the teachers with joy and excitement to mark the occasion, leaving beautiful memories for the 3 years that they spent at the senior high school.

 

“We already have family members serving in the Air Force and the Army. Therefore, my son expressed his aspiration to join navy after graduating from the military school.”, said Wu Liang-Ye who lived at the Longtan District in Taoyuan. He was a retired air force lieutenant colonel, and his wife, who is still serving at the National Chung-Shan Institute of Science & Technology, was ranked as the command sergeant major of the army. When their son decided to become a preparatory student for the navy academy while studying at the preparatory school, it would an extraordinary coincidence that their family will have members serving in 3 branches of the military, namely the Army, the Navy, and the Air Force.

 

Wu Liang-Ye stated that his son was influenced by the military background of the family and had  asipired to join the army since a young age. He and his family members perceived the decision to enrol at the preparatory school to be an exceptional choice. He said: “The biggest transformation in a child is cherishing. When he starts to cherish everything he owns, gets along with his family members better, and indulges in every moment spent together with them.”

 

A parent, Hsiao Pei-Yueh, also stated that when her child had a fragile personality when he was still living at home. However, now her child has learned to be independent, possessed personal opinions on different issues, and his personality also turned more resolute. Hsiao Pei-Yueh thought that it is an excellent option to study at the preparatory school; as everything that ranges from education, life, management, and others, will be taught and guided by the officers and teachers at school, and there is nothing to be worried about in any aspect. She would like to thank the school for overseeing the growth and transformation of her child.
